BEHIND THE BRAND

Hello, my name is Karolina, and I’m the creator of Camponesa—and, at the moment, its only team member. I’ve always been passionate about vintage pieces and handmade craftsmanship. I grew up by my mother’s sewing machine, and today I’ve combined that love with motherhood, allowing me to pursue both.

Camponesa was born in 2020, at the beginning of the pandemic and toward the end of my pregnancy. I was worried about the future...

One day, while I was out hunting for vintage treasures, my son’s father suggested that I create my own store. So I decided to leave behind the ten years I had dedicated to the company I worked for and take a chance on my dream.

In the beginning, nothing is easy, but I’m incredibly grateful for the support of Erik’s father and my mother—and, above all, for all of you who have helped make this dream a reality.

I love finding special pieces and creating unique ones. I’m grateful for all the love you show me, and even for the constructive criticism that helps me keep improving.
